Strange Tactics, Horrible Robbery
From the Gwinnett Daily Post comes a troubling story of two men who allegedly posed as recruits for the National Guard to gain entry to the home of a Georgian music producer.
The two men, one of whom is identified as Deangelo Carson, 25, of Decator, busted into the house wielding wooden clubs and met resistance before fleeing with stolen goods. According to the article:
The victims fought back but were beaten. At one point in the tussle, the male resident was doused with hot coffee and a boiling pot of green beans, according to a police report.
Both were evaluated by medics but declined hospital transport.
The robbers stole a computer, sound equipment, two cell phones and a purse before bolting away in a silver, four-door Honda Civic, the victims told police.
